This year’s agenda is designed with the aim of not only listening, learning, and inquiring about Yoruba culture but also immersing ourselves in the culture and experiencing the essence of Yoruba firsthand. This is the driving force behind transforming this year’s event into a fair instead of a conference, as we have done in previous years. Yoruba culture is rich in vibrant colors, music, dance, flavors, art, folklore, and history, and all of these elements will be seamlessly integrated into the event’s experiences.

Come and join us at this family-friendly event where everyone is welcome, but with a special focus on the younger generation.

This event’s mission is to:

1. To promote cultural awareness and pride, especially among the younger generation, who may be disconnected from their ancestral roots due to immigration.
2. To serve as a platform for social networking and building relationships among people who share a common cultural background.
3. To provide an avenue for learning about Yoruba culture and traditions through music, dance, and storytelling.
4. The event also helps to promote social unity and a sense of belonging among people of Yoruba descent.
5. To serve as a platform for discussing challenges faced by the Yoruba community and brainstorming solutions to these issues or debating about them.
6. To help college students monetarily by giving them scholarships.
